Why don't we have an indoor range in Northern Nevada?
We hear this question in almost every class. Who wants to shoot outdoors when there's a foot of snow on the ground, and the wind is blowing through your bones? We don't like it either. Not one bit. What the Reno area needs very badly is a quality indoor range. Something like this would be nice:
Some day, someone will build another range. When he builds it, they will come. The last indoor range in this area went under in 2002. Read article. Lead contamination was a contributing factor, but not the only factor in its demise.
